The Associate of the Canadian Condominium Institute (ACCI)

The Canadian Condominium Institute offers Canada’s only condo-specific designation for condominium professionals – condominium managers, lawyers, accountants, engineers, and other industry professionals.

The ACCI is nation way recognized accreditation that tell potential clients that you are knowledgeable about condominium matters. When condominiums use an ACCI designated professional, they have the security of knowing they are employing someone who meets rigorous standards to earn and maintain their designation, and abides by a Code of Ethics.

The ACCI Eligibility Criteria

The follow three criteria must be met for eligibility:

  • Ensure you are a professional member in good standing of your local CCI Chapter
  • Ensure you have at least three (3) years professional experience
  • Two (2) CCI professional members as references

The ACCI Testing

After receiving a candidate application, a review of the qualifications and a testing requirement must be met. The timed exam consists of four sections:

  • Ethics (30 minutes)
  • General Condominium (National) (40 minutes)
  • General Condominium (Provincial)(40 minutes)
  • Profession-specific (40 minutes)

A score of 80% must be met in every section to pass.

Final Screening

On a successful application and testing score, the candidate is reviewed by the National Executive and a determination is made to issuing the ACCI.
