SERVICE ALBERTA:STAGE 2 PARTICIPATION SURVEY - NOW OPEN
Service Alberta has opened the second phase to gather public feedback on the regulations for the Condominium Property Amendment Act (CPAA).
In consultation and feedback from condo owners, managers, legal and real estate professionals, and stakeholders from business and industry from July 2017 to February 2018, Service Alberta have addressed condominium governance. A survey has been compiled for your to participate giving your input on the drafted regulations. There are 6 areas of change which include:
- voting procedures and general meeting notices
- access to condominium documents
- financial considerations
- rental deposits
- insurance requirements
- reserve funds
Feedback from the survey is intended to assess the regulations to determine if they are responsive, properly formulated and effectively implement the proposed amendments to the Act.
