Reminder: RECA's Exemption Policy Section
A reminder to experienced Condominium Managers that the Real-Estate Act Rules (Rule 16 subsection 3) provides that the registrar “may grant an exemption from any or all of the educational, examinations or other requirements prescribed, approved or adopted…”.
We encourage you to review the Rules for “Education, examination and other requirements” as well as RECA’s Education Policies (Exemption Policy section). If you are unsure if an exemption applies to you, contact RECA’s Credentialing Support Services (CSS) at education@reca.ca, to determine if this is an option for you. Requests for exemption must be submitted in writing to the registrar.
