CONDOMINIUM PROPERTY AMENDMENT ACT: IMPORTANT WEBINAR

IMPORTANT NOTICE: 

CCI South Alberta has received notification from the Government of Alberta regarding the second stage of changes to the condominium regulations; intended to support the Condominium Property Amendment Act that was passed in December 2014.  They anticipate the changes to be announced later this month and coming into effect in 2019.

The second stage of the of the changes in the condominium regulations focuses on how condo boards govern themselves, including:

• insurance requirements
• voting procedures
• reserve fund plans

The Government of Alberta is having a webinar on Friday, December 14, 2018 between 9:30am and 11:30am providing an opportunity to learn more about the amendment changes.

After clicking on the link and launching the webinar client, you will be asked to enter an email address and name. No further registration is required beyond this step. If you join before the beginning of the webinar, you will receive a message to wait for the webinar to start. You will be placed into the webinar once it begins.

Pre-registration is not required.

The webinar will consist of an audiovisual walkthrough of the updated legislation, as well as a question and answer session.
