ACMEC Expression of Interest

ALBERTA CONDOMINIUM MANAGEMENT EDUCATION CONSORTIUM (ACMEC)

ACMEC and CCI South Alberta are accepting expressions of interest from candidates to become members of ACMEC’s Education Committee. ACMEC is a Canadian non-profit organization whose founders and members are CCI South Alberta, CCI North Alberta and the Alberta Real Estate Association. ACMEC was created to offer high-quality condominium management education for industry professionals. This includes ACMEC’s best-in-class three-course program that is necessary to help condominium managers and brokers meet the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) licensing requirements. ACMEC is currently completing updates to these courses in response to revised condominium manager and broker competencies which were recently approved by RECA. The revised course content must be reviewed and approved by ACMEC’s Education Committee and further approved by the ACMEC Board of Directors before it can be approved by RECA for licensing examination qualification.

We are seeking expressions of interest from condominium brokers, from senior level condominium managers and from condominium attorneys to serve on this Education Committee. The Committee consists of seven members from all of Alberta. We expect the meetings will be every 2 weeks commencing the week of November 4.  These are volunteer positions ….. there will be no remuneration paid.
