It is important for the Corporation to publicly thank these amazing individuals for their contributions! CCI South Alberta would like to help you do that!

Volunteer of the Year Recipients
2023 – Doug DaveyThe Volunteer of the Year Award winner for 2023 is Doug Davey. Doug Davey of Emerald Park Condominium has been awarded the esteemed title of Volunteer of the Year. Doug's leadership as board president has been instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the complex. His proactive approach and unwavering commitment to the community have earned him the respect and admiration of his fellow residents. Doug's dedication to volunteering spans over 21 years, during which he has consistently gone above and beyond to address the needs of the community. His willingness to listen, learn, and adapt sets him apart as a standout volunteer, ensuring that Emerald Park Condominium remains a place where residents feel secure and connected. 2021 – Kim SchulteThe Volunteer of the Year Award winner for 2021 is Kim Schulte of The Tudor’s Condominium. As a longtime resident of The Tudor’s, he has served the condominium corporation in many ways. Kim’s dedication has taken on many roles on the Board as well as developing the website, assisting with the identifying repair and maintenance requirements for the site, overseeing security improvements, working with the Reserve Fund Advisory Committee, and as the primary contact with Alberta Health Services through the pandemic. |

2017 – Myrna BelyeaMyrna Belyea, Coach Bluff Villas Condominium, Calgary Alberta, is this year’s recipient Volunteer of the Year Award. The award recognizes the volunteers who have been instrumental in making a difference through various projects, duration and making valuable contributions within their Condominium community. The Committee agreed that Ms Belyea not only met but exceeded the award requirements by participating in various roles: bookkeeper, board member, vetted contractors, training new board members and managing major refurbishment projects during her 25 years of volunteering. The 2017 Volunteer of the Year Award was presented at the association’s Annual General Meeting. |

2016 – Leah LilleyWe would like to congratulate our very first Volunteer of the Year Award recipient Leah Lilley. Leah wowed our Recognition Committee. She was nominated by her Property Manager who says Leah spends countless hours volunteering on her Condominium Board. Leah makes things run smoothly and efficiently. The award was presented at September 22, 2016, Annual General Meeting. Congratulations Leah! |
